When our clients envisioned a rich, contemporary Sri Lankan interior, we knew this project would be something special. Situated in a suburb of Colombo, it enjoys ample greenery around the site, and the focus of the interior layout never misses capturing views of the immediate outdoors.
As gracious hosts who love welcoming friends and family in an open living-dining setup, the interior unfolds in layers, bringing warmth and softening the journey within the connected spaces.
Working with this thoughtfully designed residence was an absolute pleasure. The architectural foundation, intentionally crafted to embrace the immediate environment, provided the perfect canvas for interiors that speak the language of tropical modernism with a distinctly contemporary voice.
Each room tells its own story while contributing to a cohesive celebration of Sri Lankan design sensibilities—where lush textures, warm materials, and carefully curated elements come together to create spaces that are both sophisticated and deeply evocative, constantly reminding you of an extravagant journey back to your roots.
